Why?

My daughter’s love of dance is what first inspired me to capture dance portraits. Watching the dedication, time and joy that goes into every move made me want to capture it, not just for her, but for every dancer and every parent who wants to hold onto these moments. Dance is more than movement, it’s strength, passion and countless hours of practice. I love capturing the forms, the poses and the artistry that dancers work so hard to master, creating portraits that celebrate both the journey and the achievement. Whether it’s a child taking their very first class or a seasoned performer on stage, every portrait is a chance to honour the dedication, joy and personality behind the movement.
