Adelaide locals have surely heard of the majestic Burbrook Forest, where they can revel in the beauty of “The Tree”. Although we’re not very big on playing favourites, this place has a certain magical charm that it’s hard to find anywhere else and shooting here is simply an unparalleled experience! We got hired by Daniella and Ben once again, this time for their official Burbrook Forest wedding, and it was one of the best celebrations we’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting! Allow us to show you how everything went down.
We first met with Daniella and Ben some time ago when we had the honour of shooting their engagement session. It was quite an entertaining experience, as we got in a 4×4 and drove to a secluded beach to take some incredibly stunning photos. Beaches are actually quite symbolic for the two of them because that is where Ben proposed to Dani in March 2021 with a gorgeous bespoke engagement ring that he designed himself, along with a jewellery designer! In lieu of this, they wanted a change of scenery for their wedding, so they chose the mesmerising Burbrook Forest for their ceremony, followed by the Kuitpo Hall for the reception.

As we previously mentioned, Burbrook Forest is a rather famous place for Adelaide locals, and it’s a greatly sought-after ceremony space for many couples.
The reasoning is pretty clear – the forest ambience is second to none, and “The Tree”, a family-grown gum, has become a unique staple of the mystical haven. It came as no surprise that Dani and Ben wanted to have their ceremony here since they were aiming for a laid-back experience and wanted to focus solely on having a good time – without the added stress of nitpicking all the details. They both looked captivating, and the forest’s charm really added to their beauty! Of course, they were in the company of their trusted furry companion Whisky – even he was dressed in a dapper grey dog tux and was the ringbearer for Dani and Ben. After the ceremony, we took the time to capture some more ethereal moments for their Burbrook Forest wedding, and the pictures simply blew us away!
Bubrook Forest and Kuitpo Hall Wedding Photography and Locations
After Burbrook Forest, we continued to Kuitpo Hall for their reception, nestled in the heart of the forest, surrounded by the sweet aroma of strawberry fields. The place was built in 1926; however, it was further renovated almost a century later! Kuitpo Hall’s authentic rustic charm was an ideal fit for Dani and Ben’s wedding. They didn’t want to create a distraction from the forest’s allure, so they decorated the space in earthy and natural tones and used astonishing native flowers. They were aiming for a fun and relaxed experience, and it’s evident from the pictures they were more than successful with their goal!
